What Do I Get After Graduation?
Students who graduate from Indianapolis Dental Assistant School receive their Dental Assistant Certificate from our school.
Additionally, students receive their BLS (CPR) certification in class through the American Heart Association.
A dental assistant in the state of Indiana must obtain a limited dental radiographic license from the Indiana State Department of Health/Division of Medical Radiology Services.
We assist you in this process by:
- We help you obtain your provisional student permit so you can take x-rays at your externship.
- We put you in touch with the state radiology department, which helps you take your RHS exam (administered through DANB) and also obtain your Limited Dental Radiographic License.
- If you pass the RHS exam on the first try, we will reimburse you for the cost of the exam (upon proof of completion).
The Indianapolis Dental Assistant School is accredited and regulated by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
