Admissions & State Requirements

Getting started is straightforward. Acceptance requirements include:

  • SSN (required for radiology permit)
  • Immunizations or Declination

Note: HS Diploma is not required for dental (to be removed from catalog soon).

State exam requirements: 1 Exam - RHS through DANB.
Minimum age: No minimum.
Radiography: RHS Exam - See Notes.
Credentials on completion: “Certificate of Completion” and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - Certified through the American Heart Association.

Background check guidance: The radiology license application asks:

  • Have you ever been convicted of a felony?
  • Have you ever been denied or had a license/certification revoked?
  • Have you been formally notified of any complaint against you relative to the practice of radiologic technology?
  • Do you have a drug or alcohol abuse problem or any mental or physical disability that, through the practice of your duties, may be dangerous to patients or the public?
